Attend ASCA’s September Webinars

In September, ASCA will offer two webinars as a part of its 2019 Webinar Series.

September Webinars

On Tuesday, September 10, at 1:00 pm ET, Roy Breitenbach, partner/director at Garfunkel Wild, will lead “When an Employee Requests Leave: Navigating the ADA and FMLA Requirements.” The webinar will offer a step-by-step guide on how to comply with both the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) and the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) requirements when handling employee leave requests, including the unique steps required when requests involve military leave or pregnancy and birth-related issues (see story on FMLA leave on page 34 of October 2014 issue of ASC Focus).

Terry Bohlke, former president of the ASCA Board and vice president of Ambulatory Surgery Centers at Community Health Systems, will present “Maximizing Staff Productivity” on September 24 at 1:00 pm ET. Participants will learn the secrets to controlling productivity and improving their bottom line through proven techniques that go beyond old-school standards and benchmarking.

Both webinars are included in ASCA’s 2019 Webinar All-Access Pass, which provides access to all 16 webinars in this year’s series for one low fee. Learn more and register on ASCA’s Webinars page.
