Register for ASCA’s February Webinars
ASCA will host two webinars in February: “Collections and the Dissatisfied Patient” and “Managing, Measuring and Motivating Remote Business Office Staff.”
During “Collections and the Dissatisfied Patient,” Scott Schoeffel, senior attorney at Theodora Oringher PC, will go over best practices for avoiding legal and financial risks when collecting from a dissatisfied patient. He will discuss the warning signs of risk, how to determine when and if a patient balance should be written off and how to avoid admitting fault while keeping the patient happy. This webinar will take place on Tuesday, February 11, at 1:00 pm ET.
Jho Outlaw, senior vice president of revenue cycle services at Surgical Information Systems, will lead “Managing, Measuring and Motivating Remote Business Office Staff” on Tuesday, February 25, at 1:00 pm ET. During this webinar, attendees will learn how to effectively transition a business office team to remote work, establish staff performance expectations, maintain accountability by leveraging metrics and drive engagement and productivity.
