In Mesquite, Texas, you will not find a commercial recycling program. What you will find is that North Texas Team Care Surgery Center managed to establish a recycling program of its own. All it took was a little creativity and a team committed to making a difference, says the ASC’s administrator Adam Hornback, RN. Hornback took it upon himself to launch the program. He sets recycling bins around the ASC and personally makes sure the contents are recycled periodically. “It is amazing how much trash we throw away that is recyclable,” he says.
