Oasis Surgery Center Celebrates Grand Opening of New Facility

Oasis Surgery Center recently celebrated the grand opening of its new 38,000-square-foot facility in North Canton, Ohio, with a ribbon-cutting ceremony, according to an October 8 press release. The new center has six operating rooms and two pain management procedure rooms, and will more than triple the original center's footprint.

“Our physicians and staff have worked countless hours over the past six years to design, develop and construct this facility," said Ira Richterman, MD, chief executive officer, in the release. "From smart robotic total joint replacement surgery to micro spine and hand surgery to minimally invasive sports medicine and pain management, Oasis Surgery Center will serve our community for many years to come."

Orthopaedic Ambulatory Surgical Intervention Services, Inc. opened the first Oasis Surgical Center in 1999 with a focus on outpatient orthopedic procedures. Oasis is jointly owned and operated by Omni Orthopaedics physicians. The ASC offers a variety of orthopedic services including surgery, pain management, joint clinic and same-day total joint replacement.
