Help Patients Better Understand Their Expenses

Educate up-front and be transparent about the bills they will receive

The data is in and it shows Americans struggling to understand their health coverage. A 2019 Policygenius survey of 1,500 consumers found that fewer than a third of respondents could correctly define copay, deductible and premium, and more than one in four said uncertainty over coverage led them to avoid treatment.
