Regent Surgical Health Hires New, Promotes

Regent Surgical Health of Westchester, Illinois, welcomed two veteran healthcare executives to its team and promoted one of its own, according to a November 6 press release.

Beth Johnson, RN, joined Regent as senior vice president. She will oversee operations of a portfolio of centers. Previously, she worked as the chief executive officer of the Medical Center at Elizabeth Place (MCEP) in Dayton, Ohio. Prior to leading MCEP, Johnson was a founding partner of Blue-Chip Surgical Center Partners where she developed the clinical and regulatory arm of the business. Over a 10-year period, she was instrumental in the creation and ongoing operation of numerous outpatient spine and multi-disciplinary surgery centers across the US.

Alexandra Reyes, RN, joined as vice president of operations for Regent’s Northeast region. She has led multiple ASCs, and has experience in general management, volume growth, strategic planning, physician partnership management, performance improvement and expense control.

Erin Petrie was promoted to vice president. She has grown Regent Revenue Cycle Management (RCM), an independent division of Regent Surgical Health, by developing and leading its team of revenue cycle specialists and delivering solutions that outperform industry benchmarks and Regent RCM’s own gold standards.

“We are rapidly growing our national footprint and strategically building our team to drive our business forward while staying true to our mission of improving both the patient and the physician experience,” said Chris Bishop, Regent Surgical Health's chief executive officer, in the release. “I’m pleased we have attracted this incredible talent to our team.”
