APPLY TO TAKE THE FIRST CAIP EXAM IN OCTOBER

The application period for the first Certified Ambulatory Infection Preventionist (CAIP) exam is open August 1–31. The exam period, scheduled for October 1–31, will provide candidates with the opportunity to earn the first credential designed specifically for infection preventionists in the ASC industry.

REGISTER FOR SEPTEMBER NATIONAL ADVOCACY DAY

Participants in ASCA’s National Advocacy Day on September 5 will attend three to five meetings with their congressional representatives to discuss the role ASCs play in providing safe and affordable care to their communities. The day before the meetings, ASCA staff will brief participants on ASC legislation and provide tips on how to conduct effective congressional meetings.
