QUAD A Welcomes New Board Member

QUAD A elected the newest member of its board of directors, Brett Maxfield, according to a recent post on the organization’s website. Maxfield has worked with QUAD A as an international surveyor since 2021 and now serves as cochair of the QUAD A Standards Committee.

Maxfield graduated from Brigham Young University-Idaho with a Bachelor of Science in biology and an associate’s degree in nursing. He earned his Master of Science in nurse anesthesia from the University of Michigan-Flint, and has been a certified registered nurse anesthetist since 2009. He is the director of anesthesia and surgical services for Madison Avenue Surgery Center in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and the president and chief executive officer of Maxfield Healthcare Solutions, based in southeastern Idaho. He also is an owner of a multispecialty surgical center in Idaho Falls, Idaho, and serves as the president of the Idaho Ambulatory Surgery Center Association and as a panel member of the American Association of Nurse Anesthesiology Reimbursement Technical Advisory Panel. He was elected to the QUAD A board in October 2025. Maxfield is a speaker, enjoys teaching and currently lectures independently and for Twin Oaks Anesthesia seminars.
