Bladder & Bowel Institute (BBI) has received the 2025 ASC Innovations of the Year Award from the Texas Ambulatory Surgery Center Society (TASCS), recognizing the ASC’s exceptional commitment to improving patient outcomes and advancing operational efficiency in outpatient surgical care, according to a release.
Founded in 2003, TASCS is a statewide organization dedicated to advocating for the interests of ASCs across Texas. The ASC Innovations of the Year Award is presented annually to a center demonstrating outstanding innovation in clinical care, operational processes or the overall patient experience, according to the release. “We are deeply honored to receive this recognition,” said Chris Taylor, MD, founder and medical director of BBI, in the release. “This award reflects the dedication of our entire team to delivering exceptional, compassionate care. It motivates us to continue innovating and setting higher standards in outpatient surgical services.”

The surgery center recently expanded into Texas with the opening of a new facility in the former Methodist Craig Ranch Surgery Center in McKinney, Texas. With locations in both McKinney and Harrison, Arkansas, BBI serves patients from across Texas, Arkansas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Kansas, Tennessee and beyond.
