Children’s West Surgery Center in Knoxville, Tennessee, a pediatrics-specific ASC, provides otolaryngologic (ear, nose and throat or ENT), dental, oral, urologic, orthopedic, ophthalmologic and plastic surgery to children up to the age of 21. Founded in 2001, the surgery center has undergone multiple changes over the years in terms of payers and procedures. Below is an excerpt from an interview with Administrator Michael Powers.
