North Pointe Surgery Center (NPSC), a facility designed to perform total joint procedures, opened in Lebanon, Pennsylvania, in 2015. In 2021, the ASC finally completed its first total joint replacement. The long wait was the result of the ASC needing to navigate complex rules established by the Pennsylvania Department of Health, but the work was worth it, says Melissa Weik, RN, executive administrator of NPSC.
