Despite state-level shutdowns of elective procedures, multiple shortages of personal protective equipment (PPE) and staff, and countless surges of COVID-19 cases that arrived alongside the pandemic, ASCs have continued advocating for their centers. In fact, in the past two years, they have hosted 39 facility tours for their members of Congress in both the House and the Senate.
