The Surgery Center of Fairbanks in Fairbanks, Alaska, appointed Keli Hite McGee as administrator, according to a release. She will begin her new role on October 7. Previously, Hite McGee worked as chief human resources officer at the University of Alaska.

Hite McGee has worked for more than 20 years in communication, human resources, training and coaching, change management and leadership consulting in industries ranging from healthcare and higher education to private, state and federal organizations, according to the release. Her career started at Golden Valley Electric Association in Fairbanks, as an organizational development officer, providing change management facilitation. Next, she became the chief executive officer (CEO) of Hites Organizational Leadership & Training in Fairbanks, where she worked with executives and organizations in the private and public sector to manage and implement change. Her past healthcare roles include serving as CEO of Alaska Heart & Vascular Institute and as interim administrator for Anchorage Women’s Clinic.
