ASCA recently submitted comments in response to the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services 2027 proposed payment rule for ASCs and hospital outpatient departments. The comments raised concerns with the inadequate reimbursement proposed for many of the highest-volume codes performed by ASCs.
