How to communicate effectively with the ‘deskless workforce’

The first sign of a communication problem in an ASC is rarely dramatic. It shows up quietly, usually in small moments that feel familiar to many administrators. A nurse arrives unaware of a schedule change. A policy update creates confusion rather than clarity. A case start is delayed by a last-minute question that should have been resolved earlier. No single issue feels urgent, but together they create friction that slows the day and strains a team.
