When ASCA notifies members that the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services has released the final rule — typically around Thanksgiving — we immediately begin preparations for the coming year and newly authorized codes. ASC administrators, executive directors and CEOs should actively review the 573 codes for 2026 with their clinical teams and perform financial analyses to determine which additions are appropriate for their facility.
