Communication is the backbone of healthcare, and few processes are more important than others for a positive patient experience and outcome, says Brandon Daniell, cofounder and chief revenue officer of Dialog Health in Franklin, Tennessee. “Communication is everything a patient has prior to and after leaving your ASC,” he says. “They are on a journey managed through communication until they are in the operating room, have the IV in and the physician is about to cut. Once the surgery is completed, communication helps ensure the remainder of their journey with your ASC is a success.”
