My husband and I met in high school but did not start dating until many years later. When we did start dating, as a young, independent, career-minded woman, I told him that I only needed him for three things: to get things that are up high—I am 5’2”— squish bugs and, eventually, one day grow a family. Our relationship grew, and this upcoming November, we will be married for 10 years.
