Attend ASCA’s June and July Webinars

ASCA will offer three webinars in June and July, all from the Business Office Personnel track.

Debra Silverman, chair of Health Care Practice Group at Garfunkel Wild, and John Martin, partner at Garfunkel Wild, will present “Federal No Surprises Act: Six Months In” on Tuesday, June 7, at 1:00 pm ET. This webinar will cover what we’ve learned in the first six months of implementation and what questions remain.

Lisa Rock, president of National Medical Billing Services, and Scott Allen, senior vice president of Managed Care Contracting at National Medical Billing Services, will present “How to Create and Reevaluate Your Charge Master to Ensure You Are Remaining Competitive” on Tuesday, June 21, at 1:00 pm ET. This webinar will discuss how improving efficiencies in key areas of front-office operations, such as demographic capture, patient eligibility and financial responsibility quoting, coupled with a complete managed care contract review, will ensure that your facility is capturing and maximizing revenue from patients as well as payers.

The following month, Cristina Bentin, president of Coding Compliance Management LLC, will present “Evaluating and Improving Business Office Productivity through Leadership and Oversight” on Tuesday, July 19, at 1:00 pm ET. During this webinar, Bentin will discuss the importance of cultivating business acumen in all employees and will examine the common areas of the revenue cycle that your facility should be monitoring. This program also will discuss performance objectives, monitoring frequency and accuracy goals and review the internal controls for various departments of the ASC business office.

All three webinars will be available to watch on demand after the live broadcast and are included in ASCA’s 2022 Webinar All-Access Pass. This pass provides access to both the live events and recordings of all 12 webinars scheduled this year at a fraction of the full purchase price.
