ASC Patient Experience Survey
The ASC Patient Experience Survey is a patient satisfaction survey that delivers valuable information you can use to improve performance and patient experience. Understanding your patients’ experiences and perceptions is critical for training staff, improving processes and avoiding adverse events. This survey can also help ASCs comply with industry accreditation requirements to conduct a patient satisfaction survey.
ASC Express Survey
The ASC Express Survey is a short, streamlined patient experience survey designed to provide a wealth of strategic and tactical knowledge that you can use to take meaningful action. This survey can also help ASCs comply with industry accreditation requirements to conduct a patient satisfaction survey.
OAS CAHPS Survey
The Outpatient and Ambulatory Surgery Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (OAS CAHPS) Survey is one of a family of surveys designed to measure a patients’ experiences of care. OAS CAHPS assesses experience of care received from Medicare-certified ASCs and hospital outpatient departments (HOPDs). As a CMS-approved OAS CAHPS Survey vendor, SPH Analytics provides complete management of the OAS CAHPS Survey with guidance and quality oversight throughout the survey process.
While the OAS CAHPS Survey is currently voluntary, CAHPS surveys are mandatory for other Medicare-certified suppliers and providers. In the future, the OAS CAHPS Survey may become mandatory for Medicare-certified ASCs. Facilities can begin conducting the survey prior to a potential mandate in order to:
- Know where you stand before mandatory reporting begins
- Begin taking action to address identified issues for improved survey results
- Understand your patients’ perceptions and make changes to increase overall satisfaction
- Familiarize your leadership and staff, as well as your patients, with survey protocols
