ASCA works with the United States Congress to ensure sound public policy is implemented concerning ASCs and their Medicare patients. Because ASCs provide superior quality and timely patient care, it is imperative that the ASC community work with Congress to ensure Medicare patients continue to have access to ASCs.
2023-2024 Legislative Priorities
In January 2023, the 118th Congress was sworn in. In 2023 and 2024, ASCA will be working closely with other stakeholders, ASC supporters and congressional leadership to promote federal legislative priorities, including the Outpatient Surgery Quality and Access Act of 2023.
